Yara worked four years as a buyer's assistant, which mostly meant watching enormous quantities of clothing be ordered, photographed and forgotten. She left to write about the opposite.

She posts about buying less and keeping longer: what a coat costs per wear, why a hem matters, which of last season's things she is still reaching for. Brands find this inconvenient, which she takes as a good sign.
