Jose Elías

An electrician from Badalona, son of a working-class family, Jose Elías built Audax Renovables from scratch — the publicly listed energy company he presides — and made the Forbes list. At 32 he had been bankrupt. Between one point and the other there was no luck: there was a way of thinking.

Today his universe goes far beyond energy: La Sirena, Incapto, Naturlove and a portfolio of companies he runs with the same idea he started with — that companies have a soul. Every week he lays it out unfiltered on Búscate la vida, the podcast with more than 1,200 videos where a Forbes businessman and an entrepreneur take apart how a business is really built in Spain.

His book, BILLIONAIRE, is not about showing off: it is about fear, decisions and leaving the comfortable spot. As he says himself, on camera he is the same as off — and this page is exactly that: his whole universe, in one place with his name on it.
